who am i?
Caleb Sheedy (they/them) is a 24 year old New York-based actor, director and creative originally from New Paltz, NY.

Caleb attended Syracuse University and graduated with their BFA in Acting, with a minor in Directing. After their freshman year, they were awarded a US-UK Fulbright Award to study Acting at Shakespeare's Globe in London, a transformative experience that also sparked the passion to direct and produce.

Since graduating, Caleb moved home and found their place at The CENTER for Performing Arts in Rhinebeck, NY. In the past three years Caleb has worked on eight productions, in roles varrying from actor, director, asst. director, asst. stage manager and props master. Caleb has picked up many new skills such as costuming, scenic art and painting, building and constructing props, as well as being a sound board operator and spotlight operator. They identify themselves as a multi-passionate artist, learning as many trades and acquiring as many skills as possible across different fileds in the theatre. The CENTER has allowed Caleb to grow and learn in ways they never expected.

Caleb is actively working to decolonize the arts, and remove the lasting and detrimental effects White Supremacy has on the theatre industry. Accessibility, inclusivity, representation and equity are Caleb's highest priorities when making theatre. They believe in the deconstruction of the industry as it has been for decades, and the rebuilding of a new industry that supports all artists, from all backgrounds, and represents all human experiences from as many new perspectives as possible.
